The Management Committee will support the expansion of the League to 12 clubs. This would be achieved by there being no relegation in season 2012 and the highest placed qualifying club from each feeder league, that wishes to play Premier League cricket, joining the league. Both feeder leagues must give their approval for this expansion to take place.

We are saddened to hear of the passing of John Owen, Secretary of the Glamorgan and Monmouthshire Feeder League. The funeral will take place on Tuesday 10th January at St. Peters Church, Goetre, at 2pm.

The amended regulations for 2012 are now online. We welcome David Kirtley (Cardiff C.C.) and Simon Lloyd (Mumbles C.C.) as members of the Management Committee both of whom will serve as Club Representatives.

The Glamorgan Player Allocations for Season 2012 are now online.
The Duckworth/Lewis Method will be applied to weather affected matches from Season 2012.
A stricter interpretation of wides will be applied from Season 2012 with everything 'down the leg side' being called 'wide ball'.
The SWALEC Premier Cricket League will host the Area Finals of the ECB National T20 Competition on Sunday 5th August.

A season badly affected by inclement weather has drawn to a close. Congratulations to Cardiff C.C. on winning the 2nd XI Championship.
Cardiff C.C. also finish top of the 1st XI Championship, but await the outcome of an appeal by Bridgend Town C.C. against a one match penalty.

Ammanford C.C. were defeated by St. Just C.C. in the first match of the Area Finals of the Barbados National Club Twenty20 Competition. St. Just C.C. 169-7. Ammanford C.C. 85 all out.

Enjoy a glorious day of FREE cricket at the SWALEC Stadium this Sunday, with the finals of the SWALEC Premier Cricket League twenty20 competition. Gates open at 9.30am, with the first semi-final, between Ynysygerwn CC and reigning champions Sully Centurions CC, starting at 10.30am. The second semi-final, which pitches Mumbles CC against Ammanford CC, begins at 1.30pm, and the final follows almost immediately, at 5.15pm. Entry is free, so just turn up at Gate 4.

The allocated room for the Pre-Season Distribution meeting, to be held at the SWALEC Stadium on Monday 18th April at 7.00pm, is the Members Lounge, which is located in the NCC Building. The League Cricketers Association and the Wales ACO will be giving short presentations to the meeting.
There will be no meeting of the Management Committee in April. Any urgent matters will be dealt with at the Pre-Season meetings.

Glamorgan C.C.C. will be launching their new kit at the SWALEC Stadium on Friday 1st April. The SWALEC Premier Cricket League will be a part of this event, with the Chairman and Captain of Bridgend Town C.C. and Mumbles C.C. attending for photo opportunities with the Glamorgan players and representatives of SWALEC.
The Captains are no longer required to attend the pre-season meeting with the Umpires and they should attend the pre-season distribution meeting instead.
The Management Committee has adopted the M.C.C. law changes for 2011.
Ryan Sylvester has replaced Alex Wharf as Captain of Sully Centurions C.C.

The ECB has stated that pitches are to score 14 or more with no pitch scoring BELOW 3 in any category for any match in a Premier Division or National Cup Competition. Outfield marks are to be dealt with by Premier League Management Committees.
